BA (Hons) Fine Art - East London University
Rebecca Fisher is the warm, inspiring artist behind all our children's classes—and kids absolutely love her! Now in her seventh year at Art Class London, Rebecca brings a magical combination of artistic expertise, teaching experience, and genuine care for every child's creative journey.
Rebecca is a practising artist with a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of East London. Her own art practice is very experimental—she works across painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, often inventing her own techniques and using unexpected materials. This adventurous spirit shines through in her teaching, inspiring children to think outside the box and discover their own creative voice.
Beyond her artistic talent, Rebecca brings valuable experience supporting children with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia and dyspraxia. She's brilliant at breaking down projects into manageable steps, helping children navigate frustration or anxiety, and celebrating every small success along the way. An experienced teacher (she also holds a TEFL Celta Certificate) means she knows how to make learning engaging, accessible, and fun for everyone.
Rebecca's approach is simple but powerful: children learn best through experimentation, play, and taking risks — not by following rigid rules about "right" and "wrong" art or technique. She creates a supportive, non-competitive and non-judgemental space where:
✨ Children discover their own unique artistic approaches
✨ Process matters as much as the results
✨ Mistakes are proof of taking risks and trying something new
✨ Every child is supported to feel capable and confident
✨ Self-expression and experimentation is celebrated
Rebecca holds enhanced DBS clearance and has completed SEND, safeguarding lead, paediatric first aid, health and safety, and fire safety training. Your child is in caring, capable hands.
More than just an art teacher—Rebecca is a mentor who helps children believe in their creative potential
