Frederic Morris (UK, born 1985) following a First-Class Honours Degree in
Illustration from Middlesex University in 2007, he went on to study at the Royal
College of Art from 2007-2009. He has taught printmaking and drawing courses for
over 15 years in various institutions throughout the uk..
Freddy likes to build worlds that both scare and comfort . Escapism and imagination
is at the core of his artwork . He largely works spontaneously generating pieces and
ideas from the action of doing. Printmaking for him is a platform where the mistake is
as important as anything that has been planned . His work embraces themes of
psychogeography, time, memory and place and is principally drawing based. Frederic
has exhibited throughout the globe and has picked up various prizes for his drawing
and printmaking skills as well as having his work held in various public and private
collections .
