Course Description

This short summer course introduces the core principles of classical drawing and painting through focused studies inspired by Charles Bargue and traditional academic methods.

Working on carefully selected exercises, students will develop accuracy in observation, strengthen their understanding of proportion, and learn to build tone and structure through controlled mark-making. The emphasis is on clarity, discipline, and precision, helping you establish a strong technical foundation within a shorter timeframe.
