Taster Class Description

This 3-hour Watercolour Painting Taster Class gives you the opportunity to experience our structured 10-week course before committing to the full programme.

You’ll join an existing class and take part in the scheduled lesson alongside current students, with step-by-step tuition, tutor demonstrations and practical studio exercises. Depending on the week you attend, you may explore techniques such as wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, layering, colour mixing, light and shadow, perspective or composition.

Suitable for beginners and intermediate students, the taster provides a practical introduction to the course, its teaching approach and the studio environment.

If you decide to continue, you can join the full Watercolour Painting course and develop your skills through its structured weekly programme.

Complimentary refreshments are provided, including coffee, a range of teas, and biscuits.
