Class Overview

This Art Media & Techniques taster session provides a practical introduction to a selection of traditional drawing and painting media.

Designed for beginners and intermediate learners, the session offers the opportunity to experiment with different materials through tutor demonstrations, guided exercises and individual support.

Classes take place at our North London studio, close to Crouch End, Finsbury Park, Archway and Highgate.
Time
Taster sessions run alongside regular classes.
Mondays 14.00-17.00 or
Tuesdays 10.00-13.00

£43 per 3-hour session
A date must be arranged with the tutor within 10 weeks of purchase. Taster classes are available only during the first two weeks of each term and are subject to availability. If no date is arranged, the booking expires and becomes non-refundable. See our full Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Class Description
Experience a selection of the traditional drawing and painting media explored throughout the full 10-week Art Media & Techniques course. During this practical studio session, you’ll experiment with materials including graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, ink, watercolour, acrylic, oil and gouache while learning fundamental techniques through demonstrations, practical exercises and individual tutor guidance.
Whether you’re new to art or looking to broaden your skills across different media, this taster session offers an excellent introduction to the course before deciding to join the full programme.
Complimentary refreshments are provided, including coffee, a range of teas, and biscuits.
