Course Description

Join Yassaman for a dynamic 4-week course introducing the fundamentals of comic strip creation through sequential art and visual storytelling. This engaging and accessible course helps beginners transform ideas into compelling narratives using panels, composition, and cinematic drawing techniques.

You will explore the key principles of comic-making, including panel structure, pacing, visual flow, and storytelling clarity. Through guided exercises, you will learn how to communicate narrative ideas visually using perspective, framing, light, and composition to enhance mood and meaning.

Lessons include references to influential comic artists and key moments in comic history, providing insight into different styles and storytelling approaches. The course encourages both structured skill development and creative experimentation, helping you explore your own ideas and artistic voice.

Throughout the course, you will produce a series of short comic strips, gradually building confidence in visual storytelling and sequential art techniques.
