Kids’ artCLASS London – 7-16
Our classes are for children of all ages to have fun and learn together.
We will:
Experiment with a variety of media, such as acrylics, watercolour, ink, charcoal, and graphite pencils, pastels, and recycled materials
Explore a wide range of techniques – in drawing, painting, collage, print-making, sculpture and mixed-media
Be inspired by other artists and each other
At each class there will be different activities, so that all are engaged and challenged according to their age and ability. Older children, if they want, can work separately on independent projects such as portfolio building. Whatever the age, great emphasis is placed on the importance of experimentation, creativity and individual expression.
At the end of every term we hold an exhibition – open to the public – featuring the best of the kids’ work!
Here is the online exhibition we had in March 2020: Kids Art Exhibition
We are also running a new class for children aged 6 and under. Here the focus will be on self-expression through play and making a mess! We will use a wide range of (child safe) materials and techniques – including paint, pastels, simple printmaking, charcoal, recycled materials and collage.
Timetable:
Monday – 7-18s – 4.00 – 5.30pm
Tuesday 7-18s – 4.30 – 6.00pm
Friday 7-18s – 4.30 – 6.00pm
Sunday 7-18s – 11am – 12.30pm
Sunday – 6 and under – 2pm-2.45pm
Sunday 7-18s – 3.30-5pm
All levels and abilities welcome, and all materials will be provided.
Aprons will be provided but we would recommend that children wear old clothes as they will make a mess! Please book as many sessions as you would like.
If you have booked onto a class that we are unable to run, and your child is unable to attend another session, we will refund you in full.
There will be no more than 10 students per session (a waiting list will be in operation).
All classes will be taught by Rebecca Fisher.
Please note:
All classes are aligned with school’s half term times.
The safety and security of your kids is our utmost priority.

Loss of and damage of property
‘art CLASS’ does not accept liability for the loss of or damage to property or clothing sustained by
students on the premises used by ‘art CLASS’. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety of students’ work, art CLASS regrets that it cannot be held responsible for work left on the premises which is subsequently lost or broken.
Coronavirus update: we have now decided to return to in-person teaching, taking every possible precaution for the safety of the students, parents, staff and community. Masks and hand sanitiser will be provided, children will not share materials or tools, there will be markers on the floor and spaced out seating to ensure social distancing, and the windows will be open for ventilation. Also, for the moment, we will reduce the maximum class number to 10. If necessary, we are able to quickly revert to online classes over Zoom.
