This page explains our booking, cancellation and refund terms.
By booking a class or course, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. General booking terms
All bookings are confirmed once payment is received, whether paid online or by other agreed methods. Please read the course description carefully before booking.
2. Private lessons & taster sessions (no fixed date at purchase)
Private lessons and taster sessions do not have a fixed date at the time of booking.
-
The customer must arrange a lesson date directly with the tutor within 10 weeks of purchase.
-
If no date is arranged within this time, the booking expires and becomes non-refundable.
-
Responsibility for arranging the date lies with the customer.
3. Fixed-term courses (e.g. 10-week courses)
Fixed-term courses run on specific dates and times.
-
Once the course has started, bookings are non-refundable.
-
No refunds or partial refunds are given for missed classes, late joining, early withdrawal, illness, holidays, or timetable clashes.
This is standard practice in the UK, particularly as taster sessions are available before committing.
4. Cancellations by the customer
- We do not offer refunds for customer-initiated cancellations, including cancellations due to a change of mind, illness, personal circumstances, or scheduling conflicts.
- Our classes and courses are leisure services provided on specific dates or over a fixed period and are therefore non-refundable once booked.
- If you are unsure before committing to a full course, we recommend booking a taster session first.
5. Cancellations or changes by the studio
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by the studio (for example, due to tutor illness or unforeseen circumstances), we will offer either:
-
a rescheduled session, or
-
a suitable alternative where possible.
Refunds are only issued if no reasonable alternative can be offered.
6. Transferring bookings
Bookings are not transferable to another person unless explicitly agreed in advance by the studio.
7. Tutor changes
The studio reserves the right to replace the advertised tutor with a suitably qualified alternative where necessary.
