Suitable for beginners and more experienced artists, this session introduces the disciplined methods of classical study, inspired by Charles Bargue. The studio is a short journey from Crouch End, Finsbury Park, Archway, and Highgate.

You can choose from the available morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Each session lasts 3 hours.

- You’ll join an ongoing Classical Studies class and take part in a structured drawing session using references after Charles Bargue. The focus is on careful observation, accuracy of line, proportion, and the development of tone and volume.
- This taster provides a genuine insight into the teaching approach, pace, and expectations of the full course. Individual guidance is provided throughout the session, allowing you to experience the precision and discipline central to classical training.
- If you decide to continue, you’re welcome to enrol on the full 10-week Classical Studies in Drawing and Painting course, subject to availability.
- All basic materials are provided.
