Stella Yarrow
Brief info
Stella Yarrow is an artist printmaker and print tutor. She is passionate about printmaking and loves to share her skills and enthusiasm with her students, whether they are new to the technique or experienced practitioners. She teaches several print methods, in particular the use in printmaking of recycled materials such as Tetrapak cartons, textiles, cardboard and other used household items.
This approach reflects her interest in sustainability and the natural environment. She takes an experimental approach to her own printmaking and encourages her students to take risks, be playful and have fun. She creates a positive and enjoyable environment in her classes in which she supports individuals to develop their technical skills and creative ideas. Stella studied for a Certificate in Fine Art at Art Academy London and subsequently became a tutor there. She has exhibited her work in London and more widely in the UK. She exhibits annually with Crouch End Open Studios and is a member of the Printmakers Council.
