Below is our programme of adult art classes. You can choose the course that suits your level, schedule and interests, and join us at either of our studios in North London.
Hello and thank you for visiting “art CLASS”.
We are an independent art studio in North London, offering a range of adult and children’s art classes for all levels. Our programme includes Drawing and Painting courses (10 weeks), a Watercolour Group, Lino Printing Workshops, and our new Sip & Paint evening sessions.
artCLASS offers the following courses/classes and events:
1. Taster Classes – 1 session
2. Drawing & Painting 1 & 2 – 10 weeks
3. Lino Printing Workshop – 4 weeks
4. Watercolour group – 10 weeks
5. Sip & Paint Evenings – Booking for groups of 5 people minimum.
6. Summer school – Drawing and Painting
7. Private lessons – minimum 2 hours per session
8. Saturday Night Fever – Artist Talk (once a month) and Adult Art Birthday or Hen party
For enrolled students:
– Extra lessons on a pay-as-you-go basis
– End-of-year exhibition of student artwork
Following Joseph Beuys’ moto – “Every human being is an artist” – The ultimate aim of Art Class is to inspire students to realise their full creative potential and make them into artists. Many of our students have taken this path. Some went into a higher education and some now do their practice independently and successfully.

Relaxed, instructor-led art sessions at our studio in North London, suitable for all levels – from complete beginners to those who already draw or paint. All materials provided. Bring your own drinks.

Drawing and Painting Courses
Drawing and Painting classes are suitable for all levels. We offer classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
“art CLASS” provides a thorough basis for understanding all drawing and painting elements and principles.
Detailed information is given on materials and techniques. Students can further develop methods of visual expression and are encouraged to develop a portfolio of work.
Various projects are explored on different levels of abilities, using a range of disciplines and materials – studio set up, thematic projects, mixed media, etc.

Creative Exploration for Beginners: Mastering Key Artistic Concepts

Taster Classes
Not sure where to start? Join our taster class in Drawing & Painting or Watercolour – open to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. It’s the perfect way to see if the course is right for you before enrolling!
Lino Printing Workshop
This workshop is an introduction to basic and advanced lino printing principles and methods.
You will be given practical demonstrations of techniques and instructions on the use of equipment.

Watercolour Group
Open to all independent water-colourists.
Access to a fully equipped studio.

ARTIST TALK is a series of a new and exciting events Art Class London
offers to its students and wider audiences. In our Artist Talks series,
Art Class London invites contemporary artists to share the stories
behind their work.
We are inviting you to this event where you can interact and
exchange with the artists who are creating contemporary art scene
today.
Adult Art Birthday/Hen Party
Runs on any other Saturday when Artist Talk event is not scheduled, totaling three Saturdays in a month
Time: 19.00 – 21.00 or 19.00 – 22.00
Our Art Studio is open on Saturday nights for Adult Art Party Bookings: Birthday Party, Hen Party, Family
Reunions, etc.
– All materials are provided.
– Model is booked according to your needs and the occasion.
– Tutor will set activities in motion and guide you through them.
– Bring the drinks and snacks.
– We will supply glasses, a fridge, tea and coffee.

Art Class Summer School for Adults – 2026
1. SUMMER PAINTING STUDIO: Explore and develop a personal painting project in a structured four-week studio course.
2. SUMMER DRAWING STUDIO: Discover traditional and experimental techniques in drawing and painting.
